Food Bank Hours of Operation:

  • Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 11:45am
  • The last Thursday of each month from 5pm – 6pm.
  • We are closed national holidays and from Christmas Eve through New Years Day.

Food Bank Application

  1. We request one have a government photo ID with a Walker County address OR a Social Security card AND a Walker County utility bill with their name on it.
  2. We request that people present Social Security cards OR birth certificates OR government IDs for all dependents under their care.
  3. We may request additional information after the review of one's application.
  4. One can fill out our application at the Mission located at 1005 Martin Luther King Dr, Huntsville, TX 77320.

Everyday Hot Meals

  • Hot meals are served to the public free of charge.
  • Monday - Saturday lunches are served at 12:00 noon and dinner at 6:00pm.
  • Sunday lunch is served at 1:00pm and dinner at 6:00pm.
  • All are welcome; however, all are expected to help with clean up (if able).
