The Good Shepherd Mission operates a thrift store across the street from the min building. Clients that are in need are able to receive linited, free clothing once a month.

The store is open Monday- Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm. Again, it is located across the street from The Good Shepherd Mission's main building.

Affordable clothing, accessories, household goods, furniture, and other items are available for purchase. All the proceeds go directly toward operating the thrift store for the community and the funding of the Good Shepherd Mission.

The thrift store items are donated by our generous donors.

Thrift Store Application Requirements

  1. One must provide a government photo ID with a Walker County address OR a Social Security card AND a Walker County utility bill with their name on it.
  2. One must present Social Security cards OR birth certificates OR government IDs for all dependents under their care.
  3. We may request additional information after the review of one's application.
  4. One can fill out our application at the Mission located at 1005 Martin Luther King Dr, Huntsville, TX 77320.
