Bargains and Blessings

Monday- Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Bargains and Blessings is the name of our Thrift Store. It is located across the street from The Good Shepherd Mission's main building. Affordable clothing and accessories are available for purchase, and all proceeds go directly toward the funding of the Good Shepherd Mission.

Volunteers are always welcome to help sort clothing and assist in the operation of the store.

Clothing Vouchers

Clothing Vouchers are available for individuals and families who qualify. Qualified recipients can select articles of clothing and accessories from the Bargains and Blessings Thrift Store. Please inquire about clothing vouchers Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in the main building.

Donations

People can donate items Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. When you donate your gently used household items to Bargains and Blessings you are supporting the Mission in two ways. 1) Clients and Lodgers of the Good Shepherd Mission are able to utilize the donations. 2) The donations sales provide daily needed funds for the operating costs of the Mission.

We also take quality, used furniture when space allows. However, we are unable to take the following items:

• Furniture with large tears, stains or broken parts

• Chipped and incomplete sets of dishware and glassware

• Organs and pianos

• Pool tables and ping-pong tables

• Large executive desks

• Hide-a-bed sofas

• Mattresses and box springs

• Exercise equipment

• Infant or toddler car seats

• Strollers with stain and missing parts

• Small electronics (microwaves and smaller)

• Beds (including headboards and footboards)

• Armoires and large entertainment center

• Large area rugs

• TVs that do not have smart TV capabilities.
