How to Support Our Ministry

The Episcopal Church in Navajoland ministers in one of the poorest areas in the United States. With unemployment rates estimated at over 40 percent, the Navajo Nation is virtually a Third World country within U.S. borders.

Although we employ a number of different ways in the Southeast Region to fund our efforts at Good Shepherd Mission and St. Mark's-Coalmine (the Hozho' Retreat Center, Hummingbird Gallery, space rentals, etc.), a shortage of finances still restricts the extent of our ministry on the vast  Reservation.

Contributions from our friends help support our Church School, Vacation Bible School, adult education and our far-flung pastoral services as well as the restoration and maintenance of our historic buildings.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, perhaps to honor or memorialize a friend or family member, please contact us.

We are able to accept VISA and MasterCard at Good Shepherd Mission by phone: 928-729-2322.

Checks are also gratefully accepted, payable to Good Shepherd Mission. Your donation can be mailed to:

Thank you for your interest in the Southeast Region's ministry
and the Episcopal Church in Navajoland!
